P&D Specialist Certification
Most of the time spent on delivery driver training is dedicated to learning how to operate the scanner, navigate and find packages with GroundCloud and/or DRO, and the specifics of the route (where receiving doors are located and such). And hopefully, a lot of time is spent reiterating safety.
The best of trainers will usually forget a detail here or there, especially because so many situations just don't arise during training. Did they cover every status code and how each affects service? Did they emphasize routing priorities? Did they explain the procedure and implications of a minor accident? What about the driver's DOT responsibilities?
The CSP P&D Specialist Certification is a convenient way to ensure your drivers have been taught the important details. It can be completed at the driver's pace, at home - or on their phone while waiting for a pick up window! Drivers should have a good understanding of basic scanner operations and GroundCloud (if available) prior to starting the course. We recommend requiring the certification just after completion of your usual ride-along training program.
